Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager - Health & Safety to lead and oversee health and safety practices across residential projects under the RES7 program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel involved in residential construction activities, driving compliance with local, national, and international health and safety regulations, and fostering a proactive safety culture across the project environment. The Senior Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust health and safety management systems and frameworks, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections, and ensuring continuous improvement in safety performance across all project phases. The role includes managing incident reporting and investigation processes, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and delivering targeted health and safety training initiatives to enhance awareness and competency among stakeholders. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to integrate occupational health and safety considerations into project planning, execution, and operational processes. The Senior Manager will monitor health and safety metrics, analyze trends, prepare reports for senior leadership, and recommend improvements based on data analysis. The role also involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, maintaining adherence to best practices, and staying updated with emerging health and safety trends within large-scale residential construction projects. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in safety management plans, hazard identification, mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance, while supporting organizational objectives and maintaining a safe project environment.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety management systems and frameworks tailored to the RES7 residential project while ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections, identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize workplace incidents across residential construction environments
- Manage incident reporting and investigation processes, analyze root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions, document findings, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs, workshops, and awareness initiatives to enhance competency, compliance, and safety culture among project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor health and safety performance metrics, track KPIs, prepare detailed reports for senior leadership, analyze trends, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project management, engineering, and operations to integrate health and safety considerations into planning, execution, and operational processes
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices across residential construction projects
- Stay updated with emerging industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices, and implement improvements to enhance health and safety processes and performance
Experience & skills
- Possess Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field with Master’s degree preferred and strong academic foundation in safety management principles
- Demonstrate at least 10 years of progressive experience in health and safety management within large-scale construction projects, preferably residential developments
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of health and safety laws, standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and industry best practices applicable to construction environments
- Demonstrate experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and development of safety management plans for construction projects
- Possess relevant professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety certifications demonstrating professional competency
- Demonstrate experience managing multidisciplinary teams and leading safety initiatives across complex project environments
- Demonstrate ability to monitor safety metrics, analyze data trends, prepare reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and support dynamic project environments while maintaining compliance and safety standards
