Job description
The Professional Services Consultant β Cybersecurity is a highly technical, customer-facing role responsible for deploying, implementing, and supporting Thales cybersecurity and data security solutions within enterprise environments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSM), CipherTrust Manager (CM), CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE), CipherTrust Cloud Key Manager (CCKM), and related encryption and key management technologies, ensuring secure protection of enterprise data across on-premises and cloud infrastructures. The consultant leads the full implementation lifecycle including planning, solution design, deployment, integration, validation, and post-implementation support of encryption and key management solutions. The role requires working directly with customers to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed implementation plans aligned with cybersecurity, compliance, and data protection objectives. It involves architecting secure cryptographic frameworks using HSMs and CipherTrust components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices for data-at-rest protection and secure communications. The consultant executes hands-on installation, configuration, and integration of Thales security solutions into complex IT environments including databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle using Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). The role requires deep understanding of cryptographic protocols such as KMIP, PKCS#11, REST APIs, SNMP, and TLS for secure system integration. It also includes managing key lifecycle processes including generation, distribution, rotation, revocation, and certificate management in compliance with security standards. The consultant provides training, consultation, and best practice recommendations while producing detailed technical documentation, design guides, and operational runbooks. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, presenting technical solutions and project progress to both technical and executive audiences. Additionally, the consultant collaborates with sales, R&D, and product management teams to enhance product functionality based on customer requirements. The position demands experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud), infrastructure systems, databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB), virtualization platforms, operating systems (Windows, Linux, AIX), and security certifications such as NIST, PCI, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, or PMP. The role involves high travel requirements (up to 70%) and operating in a high-pressure, fast-paced cybersecurity delivery environment requiring adaptability and strong problem-solving abilities.
