The Assistant Relationship Manager – Global Subsidiaries role is based in Dubai within a leading international banking institution, operating as part of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division and the Banking and Coverage team responsible for managing and developing global client relationships. The role focuses on supporting relationship growth and strategic engagement with international and multinational clients, delivering tailored financial solutions across corporate finance, financial markets, transaction banking, sustainable finance, trade finance, cash management, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory. The position requires partnering closely with Coverage Relationship Managers (RMs) to originate new business opportunities, provide transactional support, and contribute to deal execution activities including credit documentation, limit loading, and deal drawdown processes. The Assistant Relationship Manager is responsible for supporting client analysis, preparing reports on post-origination activities, and maintaining accurate documentation of client meetings and interactions. The role also involves supporting sales discipline processes such as account planning, pipeline management, client call reports, and preparation of deal approval submissions. The position requires strong knowledge of risk management, financial analysis, and credit analysis to assess client needs and contribute to solution structuring. The role operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work with ambiguity while collaborating across global teams to deliver innovative banking products and services. The candidate is expected to leverage industry knowledge to build strong client relationships, support revenue generation, and contribute to delivering flexible and customized client portfolios aligned with the bank’s global footprint and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Provide sales support to Coverage Relationship Managers (RMs) in originating new business opportunities and expanding client relationships within global subsidiaries
- Support transactional activities related to new business origination including deal execution, credit documentation, limit loading, and deal drawdown processes
- Conduct client analysis and prepare reports on post-origination activities, ensuring accurate documentation of client meetings and interactions
- Assist Senior Coverage and Coverage RMs in maintaining sales discipline processes including account planning, pipeline management, and client call reporting
- Prepare and support deal approval submissions, ensuring completeness and alignment with internal credit and risk frameworks
- Collaborate with product partners across corporate finance, financial markets, and transaction banking to deliver integrated client solutions
- Support management of multinational client relationships by identifying needs and contributing to customized financial solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal risk management, credit analysis, and governance processes across all client and deal activities
Experience & skills
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field as a preferred qualification
- Demonstrate experience in banking or a relevant financial services environment, preferably within corporate or investment banking
- Exhibit knowledge of banking products including corporate finance, financial markets, transaction banking, and sustainable finance
- Demonstrate understanding of risk management, financial analysis, and credit analysis in supporting client and deal activities
- Show experience supporting deal execution processes including credit documentation, limit loading, and deal drawdown
- Possess ability to manage account planning, pipeline management, and client reporting within structured sales environments
- Demonstrate experience working with multinational clients and supporting global relationship management activities
- Exhibit ability to work effectively in dynamic environments with ambiguity while maintaining focus on client outcomes
- Show strong capability in preparing documentation, reports, and deal submissions aligned with internal governance requirements
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills when working with Coverage teams and product partners
