Job description
Responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical operations in the hotel, ensuring that electrical systems, panels, and equipment are maintained in optimal working condition. The Electrical Supervisor leads a team of technicians, plans preventive maintenance schedules, enforces safety standards, and ensures compliance with both company and government regulations. The role also involves cross-departmental coordination, staff training, and responding effectively to emergencies to maintain operational continuity and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the installation, repair, and inspection of electrical equipment throughout the property
- Maintain all electrical equipment, control panels, and appliances to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards
- Prepare, execute, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records
- Distribute work assignments to team members based on skills and capabilities to ensure efficient results
- Verify that all completed work meets specified standards and quality expectations
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe and functional condition
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure satisfaction with electrical services and progress
- Conduct on-the-job training and create multitasking opportunities for engineering staff
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and emergency protocols in all operations
- Continuously monitor and improve electrical maintenance processes and practices
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field preferred
- Proven experience in a similar electrical supervisory role within hospitality or large facilities
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, motors, and appliances
- Hands-on ability to troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults efficiently
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and execution
- Understanding of government electrical codes and company standards
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, and team management skills
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to unpredictable events
