Job description
Emirates NBD created this Manager - Fraud Investigations role because the bank's most complex, sensitive and high-profile investigations, both fraud and non-fraud, needed a dedicated owner. You lead, manage and resolve complex, sensitive and cross functional investigations, keeping evidence management and reporting to the highest standard. Regulatory expectations from CBUAE, Basel, UAE PDPL and other relevant bodies get interpreted and implemented directly, with investigations and reporting built to meet or exceed them. Cross-border investigations get initiated and coordinated, backed by relationships built with international regulators, law enforcement and peer institutions. Non-fraud matters such as misconduct, policy breaches and operational losses come to you as assigned by management. Data analytics get applied throughout, identifying patterns, supporting investigations and shaping recommended controls in collaboration with analytics teams. Advanced training for investigators gets developed and delivered, with staff mentored and lessons from complex and international cases shared across the unit. Business units, legal, HR, regulators and law enforcement are liaised with regularly wherever investigations or training call for it.
