Job description
The Solutions Consultant at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance across cybersecurity solutions, helping organizations secure their most critical digital assets. This role involves designing, positioning, and demonstrating Palo Alto Networks solutions including Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation Technologies. The consultant collaborates closely with Account Executives to align customer needs with platform capabilities, ensuring value realization and adoption. Key functions include understanding key customer business requirements, conducting discovery to identify technical, operational, and commercial imperatives, creating high-level technical designs, performing solution demonstrations, conducting workshops and technical validations, and providing strategic guidance for security architecture transformation. The role requires active cross-functional collaboration with Professional Services, Customer Success, and specialist teams, influencing key stakeholders, managing long and complex sales cycles, and differentiating PANW leadership in the cybersecurity landscape. Continuous professional development, participation in industry events, and cultivation of technical stakeholder relationships are essential, alongside adherence to Palo Alto Networksâ values of Disruption, Collaboration, Execution, Integrity, and Inclusion.

Key responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to define technical solutions aligned with customer business imperatives and security needs
- Conduct discovery sessions to identify and articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers
- Design, demonstrate, and present high-level technical solutions across the PANW portfolio to create measurable business value
- Support customer adoption of PANW platform solutions by guiding implementation, onboarding, and technical engagements
- Lead technical validation efforts and workshops to ensure successful deployment and adoption of solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with technical stakeholders to develop security architecture transformation roadmaps
- Stay updated on cybersecurity technologies, best practices, competitive landscape, and PANW product evolution to inform solution positioning
Experience & skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering within cybersecurity or related IT solutions
- Proficiency in one or more domains: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE
- Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions to address technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
- Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders in customer-facing or internal roles
- Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, and technical validation engagements
- Prior involvement in complex sales processes involving multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions
- Ability to partner with Customer Support and Professional Services to ensure solution implementation and adoption
- Proficient in English; Arabic proficiency is required
- Field sales flexibility with potential travel for customer meetings as needed
