The UAE National Pharmacist role at Al-Futtaim Health offers Emirati pharmacists an opportunity to serve their communities through culturally informed, patient-centered healthcare delivery. Working within HealthHub Clinics & Pharmacies, Emirati pharmacists provide accessible and trusted medical care across Dubai, ensuring that every patient interaction reflects empathy, expertise, and national values. This position is designed not only as a professional role but as a contribution to the UAEās long-term healthcare vision, empowering Emiratis to lead within the pharmaceutical field. The role includes participation in mentorship, educational training, and NAFIS-supported development programs, offering exposure to both clinical practice and community engagement. Pharmacists are encouraged to grow through DHA-accredited CME programs and hands-on clinical experiences, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver world-class healthcare while representing Emirati excellence in the industry.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Dispense and review prescriptions accurately, ensuring patient safety and compliance with DHA regulations.
- Deliver personalized counseling and medication guidance to patients, enhancing adherence and health outcomes.
- Support community-based health initiatives that promote wellness and disease prevention.
- Participate in mentorship and educational programs through the NAFIS-supported Pharmacy Training and Grant initiative.
- Contribute to training and supervising pharmacy students and interns under the Educational Mentorship Program.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and patient interactions in line with compliance standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
- Ensure all dispensing activities align with Al-Futtaim Healthās operational and ethical standards.
- Stay current with pharmacological developments, participating in CME and continuous learning programs.
- Promote health literacy and awareness among UAE nationals, bridging cultural and linguistic gaps in care delivery.
Experience & skills
- UAE National (Emirati citizenship required).
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Eligible for or holding a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Pharmacist license.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered service.
- Passionate about contributing to community health and national wellness goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in Arabic and English.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multicultural healthcare environment.
- Interest in mentorship, continuous learning, and evidence-based pharmaceutical care.
- Flexibility to work across various HealthHub Clinics & Pharmacies in Dubai.
