Job description
This role serves as a subject matter expert in Core Lab Clinical Chemistry with specialisation in automation and workflow solutions across pre-analytics, analytics, post-analytics, and IT. The consultant provides expertise within the Service & Lab Consulting function to key accounts throughout pre-buying, implementation, and transformation phases. The mandate covers developing optimized laboratory systems and processes, translating customer objectives into sustainable testing solutions, supporting RFP responses, conducting workflow and system demonstrations, simulating and quantifying the financial impact of workflow changes, validating Turnaround Time (TAT) performance using proprietary and commercial analytical tools, performing post-implementation analysis, applying LEAN methodology to identify continuous improvement opportunities, and expanding engagement opportunities in general laboratory and in-hospital environments. The role requires strong domain experience in clinical chemistry laboratory operations, financial modeling, workflow simulation, and laboratory optimization practices within a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities
- Develop optimized laboratory systems and processes for major customer sites
- Generate recommendations and insights to provide sustainable testing solutions that improve efficiencies and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with regional teams to craft RFP responses that position the company for success
- Conduct workflow and system demonstrations and presentations for key accounts
- Simulate and quantify the financial impact of workflow improvements to demonstrate value and total cost of ownership
- Perform simulation exercises to validate Turnaround Time targets using proprietary and commercial analytical tools
- Conduct post-implementation analysis to assess installation impact on customer operations
- Apply LEAN methodology to identify continuous improvement opportunities and collaborate with customers to drive efficiencies
- Seek and develop opportunities for additional customer engagement beyond traditional workflow settings
Experience & skills
- Hold a University Degree in Bio Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Medical Technology
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a clinical chemistry laboratory or related environment
- Have laboratory management and LEAN Six Sigma experience within a healthcare setting as a plus
- Demonstrate analytical, data-oriented, and process-minded capabilities
- Be proactive and able to work autonomously or within a team
- Show advanced communication, presentation, executive presence, and interpersonal skills
- Possess high-level proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, or Google equivalents
- Be fluent in spoken and written English, with Arabic considered a plus
