The Specialist Commissioning Engineer – HVAC (Wellhead Towers Subsea Cable & Piping) is responsible for leading commissioning activities for HVAC systems and associated mechanical and infrastructure systems within offshore oil and gas facilities, including wellhead towers, subsea cable systems, and subsea piping systems. The role is based in Abu Dhabi with rotational offshore assignments across client offices, contractor offices, fabrication yards, and offshore sites. The engineer operates within large-scale EPC/FEED mega projects exceeding USD 1 billion, ensuring full system readiness, integration, testing, validation, and handover of HVAC and related mechanical systems. The role requires extensive experience in oil and gas commissioning, including brownfield modification projects, offshore platform environments, and ADNOC project execution standards. Responsibilities include planning and executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, managing system completion processes, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across fabrication and offshore environments, managing punch lists and system readiness tracking, and ensuring successful startup and handover of systems. The position requires strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, offshore engineering environments, and integrated mechanical system performance verification, with a focus on ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation of critical oil and gas infrastructure.
