Job description
Dell Technologies is hiring a Senior Account Executive â Public Sector in Riyadh to lead enterprise-level engagements with key government entities and institutions. This quota-carrying, client-facing role focuses on building long-term relationships, identifying digital transformation opportunities, and expanding Dell's market presence in the Saudi public sector. Youâll collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-sales, consultants, product managers, and finance to deliver integrated, value-driven solutions across Dellâs full technology portfolio. This position demands a trusted advisor with deep knowledge of how technology enables public sector innovation and performance.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Manage a defined territory of public sector accounts to grow business and meet/exceed financial targets.
- Engage directly with senior-level government decision-makers to understand and address business challenges.
- Drive demand for Dellâs enterprise solutions including compute, storage, cloud, security, and infrastructure.
- Create strategic account plans and sales forecasts aligned with territory goals.
- Lead cross-functional virtual teams for solution development and deal closure.
- Serve as the customer advocate, ensuring exceptional post-sale service and long-term value.
- Identify market trends and position Dell as a thought leader within public sector modernization efforts.
- Facilitate negotiations and close high-impact deals with a focus on long-term partnerships.
- Maintain account data, activity tracking, and pipeline accuracy in CRM systems.
Experience & skills
- 12â15 years of experience in enterprise sales, with strong public sector exposure.
- Proven success in developing strategic relationships and closing high-value contracts.
- Strong technical and business acumen to articulate the value of IT solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams across sales, services, and product units.
- Knowledge of Saudi government procurement processes and digital transformation goals.
- Bachelorâs degree preferred.
- Fluent in English; Arabic fluency is a strong asset.
