The Business BU is a critical component of first line customer facing activities for all Business Accounts and plays a significant role in long term business value creation through product design, achievement of sales revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction, as defined in the annual business plans. The Product Hub focuses on productizing enterprise grade services for the B2B sector covering core connectivity and ICT domains, working closely with the Business Solutions unit to deliver customized solutions using foundational hub products and forming direct partnerships for unique service integration and delivery. The B2B sector spans government, large enterprises, and small to medium businesses. The Assistant Director Fixed Connectivity is responsible for product development and management for Fixed products and services including internet access across copper and Fibre networks, fixed wireless equivalent services, Telex, VAS, Domain names, Internet VPN, M2M data services, VSAT, IPLC, IP-Metro Area Networks, Wavelink, Connected and Smart Home/Communities, Intra premise Connectivity, and Intelligent Network Products such as Next Generation Hotspots, ticketing and NFC. The role requires extensive experience in product development and management life cycles and knowledge of technology platforms to drive enterprise-grade fixed connectivity and ICT solutions aligned with revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives within the B2B telecommunications domain.

Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development and management life cycles for Fixed products and services including internet access across copper and Fibre networks, fixed wireless equivalent services, Telex, VAS, Domain names, Internet VPN, M2M data services, VSAT, IPLC, IP-Metro Area Networks, Wavelink, Connected and Smart Home/Communities, Intra premise Connectivity, and Intelligent Network Products such as Next Generation Hotspots, ticketing and NFC, ensuring full lifecycle ownership from concept to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Drive product design and productization of enterprise grade services within core connectivity and ICT domains for the B2B sector, aligning offerings with annual business plans to achieve defined sales revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction targets across government, large enterprises, and small to medium businesses.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Hub and Business Solutions unit to integrate foundational connectivity products into customized solutions, forming direct partnerships for unique service integration and delivery while ensuring technical and commercial feasibility of Fixed Connectivity portfolios.
- Oversee performance management of the Fixed Connectivity portfolio by monitoring revenue achievement, profitability, adoption rates, and service performance across internet access across copper and Fibre networks, Internet VPN, VSAT, IPLC, IP-Metro Area Networks, and M2M data services.
- Ensure continuous enhancement and innovation of Intelligent Network Products including Next Generation Hotspots, ticketing and NFC, as well as Connected and Smart Home/Communities and Intra premise Connectivity solutions to maintain competitive positioning in the telecommunications market.
- Define and manage go-to-market strategies for Fixed Connectivity services such as Wavelink, Domain names, VAS, Telex, and fixed wireless equivalent services, ensuring alignment with B2B customer requirements and enterprise grade service standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders within Business BU to support first line customer facing activities, enabling seamless delivery, service assurance, and lifecycle management of Fixed Connectivity and ICT solutions.
- Govern compliance with internal policies and technology platforms while optimizing product development and management processes to support long term business value creation, sustainable growth, and market leadership in world-class communications services in Qatar.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a minimum of 12 years' experience in a similar role within telecommunications or related ICT environments, with direct accountability for product development and management life cycles of Fixed Connectivity and enterprise grade services.
- Exhibit proven expertise in managing internet access across copper and Fibre networks, fixed wireless equivalent services, Internet VPN, VSAT, IPLC, IP-Metro Area Networks, M2M data services, and other core connectivity solutions within B2B markets.
- Possess strong knowledge of technology platforms supporting Intelligent Network Products such as Next Generation Hotspots, ticketing and NFC, as well as Connected and Smart Home/Communities and Intra premise Connectivity solutions.
- Demonstrate experience in productizing services for government, large enterprises, and small to medium businesses, ensuring alignment with sales revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction objectives defined in annual business plans.
- Show hands-on capability in managing the full spectrum of Fixed products and services including Telex, VAS, Domain names, Wavelink, and fixed wireless equivalent services within a structured product development and management framework.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing or Engineering as a minimum qualification to support commercial, technical, and strategic aspects of Fixed Connectivity product leadership.
- Demonstrate practical experience collaborating with business units such as Product Hub and Business Solutions to deliver customized solutions through direct partnerships and integrated service delivery models.
- Apply extensive understanding of B2B telecommunications dynamics, core connectivity and ICT domains, and enterprise grade service requirements to effectively lead Fixed Connectivity portfolios and drive long term business value creation.
