Job description
Month-end close for the KAU unit at Abdul Latif Jameel runs through this Jeddah accountant, from journal vouchers to final accounts. Management accounts, fund flow statements and the annual budget are prepared with your help, and the suspense account is watched for anomalies. Bank work includes deposit roll-overs, collateral reports, entry sheets and bank reconciliations. Income-related accounts are analysed for fairness, and ledger accounts scrutinised for accuracy before reports go to management. An Accountant and a Cashier work under your supervision on monthly cash reconciliations and balance sheet controls, with performance discussions and development plans part of the routine. Internal and external auditors rely on you for records and information. Corporate tax reporting draws on financial data you compile in line with government requirements and accepted accounting principles.
