Job description
ADNOC Logistics & Services runs a dry fleet of AHTS, PSV, DPII, mooring subsea and SSRV vessels across ADNOC fields, and keeping those vessels safe, compliant and fully utilised is the core of this Abu Dhabi position. Masters and ship staff turn to you for guidance on every marine matter, from navigational data and chart corrections to risk assessments. Compliance takes up a large share of the work, covering ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 and 55001, SIRE and Rightship inspections, plus flag state and classification society requirements. Annual on-board navigation audits, marine inspections and pre-vetting visits mean regular time on the vessels, with every deficiency followed through to closure. Budgets matter too, since the fleet marine budget is prepared here and spending is tracked against it with the technical team. Incident investigations and root cause analysis fall within scope, and the role sits on the shore Emergency Response Team. Contracts for mooring ropes, LSA/FFA maintenance, gas detection and PPE are drafted or reviewed here, alongside the company's Safety Management System (SMS) procedures. A Master CoC (Class 1), the ISM Lead Auditor course, an ISPS Company Security Officer certificate and at least 4 years in command of dry and bulk vessels in ADNOC fields are expected.
