Job description
The Analyst – Benefits Operations & Financial Analytics is responsible for driving end-to-end reporting, cost analysis, and operational performance of cardholder benefit programs. This role manages vendor relationships, ensures accurate financial tracking, and delivers actionable insights to improve benefit delivery, customer experience, and financial efficiency. The analyst works closely with Finance, Product, Operations, and Technology teams to align benefit performance with Visa’s Consumer Value Proposition and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Validate, reconcile, and maintain records of benefit vendor invoices and costs
- Develop dashboards and performance reports tracking usage, ROI, customer satisfaction, and costs across all benefit categories
- Monitor lounge benefit vendors to ensure service quality, address issues, and implement program enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on KPIs, performance metrics, and benefit processes
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights for decision-making
- Support integration of benefit costs into budgeting and P&L processes
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting, billing, and operations
- Maintain compliance with governance standards and audit requirements
- Communicate findings and business implications clearly to leadership
- Assist in ongoing benefit program reviews and recommend data-driven enhancements
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, operations, or similar roles
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience handling large datasets
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L concepts
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of TM1, Hyperion, or similar financial systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with data visualization and BI tools for reporting and dashboards
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proactive problem-solving skills with initiative to improve processes and efficiency
