Energy companies in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, from Oil & Gas to Petrochemicals, are reworking their IT estates and digital platforms, and this Principal role in BCG Platinion's Energy Practice sits at the centre of that work. Client leadership teams bring the challenges, and you shape the IT strategies, digital platforms and architecture that answer them. Winning buy-in for those recommendations is half the job. The other half is execution, since the Principal carries operational responsibility for delivering and managing the solution while guiding the BCG case team. Quality, risk, client expectations and escalations all sit with you, along with evaluating and coaching client technology teams. Most engagements touch IT/Digital architecture, cloud, data and AI, and they tend to reshape operating models as much as systems. Mentoring consultants, giving frequent feedback and contributing to Practice Area development round out the role. Expect to bring 8 to 12 or more years in IT consulting or digital transformation, Energy sector experience and a track record in IT transformation delivery, with Arabic a plus alongside excellent English.
