Job description
The Business Growth Officer at Bede, Zain Bahrain's fintech subsidiary, is responsible for driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and product adoption across all company offerings. The role focuses on planning, executing, and optimizing multi-channel growth strategies, including digital marketing, merchant and service provider partnerships, financing product promotion, and employer collaborations. The officer manages campaigns across SMS, WhatsApp, email, app notifications, paid social media advertising, offline campaigns, roadshows, and on-ground activations. Responsibilities include tracking performance metrics such as CAC, ROI, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness, while aligning with product, credit, and sales teams to maximize growth. The officer plays a key role in onboarding merchants and employers, designing joint campaigns to promote financing usage, and ensuring all initiatives are data-driven, performance-focused, and aligned with company growth targets.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth strategies to meet monthly and annual targets for new customer acquisition, financed customers, financing volumes, and revenue growth
- Identify and pursue new channels and partnerships to drive customer and transaction growth
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across SMS, WhatsApp, email, app notifications, and paid social media platforms
- Design and implement offline campaigns, including out-of-home advertising, roadshows, employer activations, on-ground promotional activities, and branch/merchant activations
- Manage marketing and campaign budgets, track CAC, ROI, conversion rates, and ensure all campaigns are optimized for performance
- Onboard merchants and service providers to offer Bede financing services, develop retailer and service partnerships, and coordinate joint campaigns
- Develop employer partnerships to promote financing solutions to employees through corporate roadshows and on-site activations
- Collaborate with product and credit teams to align growth initiatives and create bundled offers or promotions to drive product adoption
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports using data analytics to refine acquisition, retention, and revenue growth strategies
- Monitor campaign performance against budgets and KPIs, making data-driven adjustments to strategies to optimize outcomes
- Support the expansion of the company’s presence through strategic merchant and service provider onboarding initiatives
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned to support the growth and operational goals of Bede
- Track and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform growth strategies
- Ensure campaigns are customer-centric, data-driven, and aligned with Bede’s Shariah-compliant fintech platform objectives
- Maintain close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and growth alignment
- Continuously optimize performance marketing and retargeting strategies to maximize ROI and product adoption across channels
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in growth, digital marketing, business development, or fintech
- Experience in BNPL, fintech, banking, telecom, or digital services is preferred
- Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns including SMS, WhatsApp, paid advertising, email, app push notifications, and offline marketing
- Experience in merchant acquisition or partnership development is a strong advantage
- Strong growth and commercial mindset with a results-driven approach
- Expertise in performance marketing, data-driven decision making, and campaign planning
- Proficiency in budget management and monitoring KPIs such as CAC, ROI, and conversion rates
- Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools to streamline campaigns and track customer engagement
- Ability to develop strategic partnerships with merchants, service providers, and employers
- Excellent planning and execution skills for multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance, market trends, and customer data
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, credit, sales, and operations teams
