Job description
Information Risk Management in Audit (IRMeA) is KPMG's specialist wing within External Audit, giving audit teams and clients assurance that systems linked to financial reporting are fit for purpose. This Dubai supervisor role checks whether technology controls are operating effectively, with a focus on banking and retail clients. General IT Controls, SAP or Oracle ERPs, operating systems and databases come under review, along with ERP analytics. Day to day, you deliver the practice's objectives, review the quality of team work in detail and keep backlogs under control. Clients, whether internal or external, need technical issues explained clearly. SLAs and engagement letter deliverables have to be met, and new projects need smooth transitions. Process changes are planned carefully, and issues are raised and resolved before they grow. Basic knowledge of cyber security, business continuity, emerging technologies and data analytics rounds out the picture. A CISA or CISM and at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in IT audit or technology risk at a Big 4 firm are required, with financial services experience a plus.
