Job description
The Senior Coordinator - International Freight and Clearing at Red Sea Global coordinates and supports end-to-end international freight, customs clearing, and documentation processes to ensure timely import/export operations in alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves booking and tracking shipments, managing import/export documentation with regulatory compliance, liaising with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities, monitoring shipment status, resolving delays, maintaining accurate records, supporting cost optimization initiatives, and preparing performance reports. The coordinator applies safety, quality, and environmental management policies, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and follows functional policies, systems, processes, and standard operating procedures to maintain operational excellence within supply chain and logistics operations.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate international shipping activities including booking, tracking, and delivery timelines
- Manage import and export documentation ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or compliance issues
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, declarations, and customs documents
- Support cost optimization initiatives within international freight operations
- Prepare periodic reports on shipment performance and clearing cycle times
- Ensure adherence to international trade compliance, safety, and quality standards
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 0–1 year experience in international freight, customs clearing, or logistics operations
- Knowledge of import/export regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
