Job description
KBR is seeking a highly experienced Project Quality Manager to lead quality management initiatives for a major PMC (Project Management Consultancy) project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will bring over 25 years of oil and gas industry experience, including substantial exposure to gas processing and compression projects, FEED stage oversight, and stakeholder management within ADNOC-related environments. This position requires extensive familiarity with project quality control procedures, international standards, and regulatory frameworks within the GCC region.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and implement quality management systems for major oil and gas PMC projects.
- Ensure full compliance with project quality plans, international standards, and client specifications.
- Oversee quality assurance across all project phases, particularly during FEED and execution stages.
- Monitor quality performance and compliance of contractors and vendors.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, audit schedules, and inspection protocols.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and project teams to address non-conformances.
- Provide expert guidance on quality standards applicable to gas processing and compression facilities.
- Manage quality interface with ADNOC and other regulatory stakeholders.
- Conduct root cause analysis and initiate corrective/preventive actions when required.
- Mentor and lead quality teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and Zero Harm.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in oil and gas, including 8ā10 years in gas processing and compression.
- Strong background in FEED and EPC project phases.
- Demonstrated experience working on PMC projects.
- ADNOC project experience is highly desirable.
- Prior exposure to quality systems within the GCC market.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international QA/QC standards and processes.
- Excellent leadership, auditing, and communication skills.
