The Senior Manager - Compliance (Corporate Investigations & Regulatory Compliance) is responsible for supporting the VP Compliance in establishing, maintaining, and continuously evolving a mature compliance culture across the organization. The role forms part of the broader compliance mandate and function within the Holding organization and includes responsibilities spanning both compliance management and investigations oversight. Reporting directly to the VP-Compliance, the position acts as a subject matter expert in business ethics, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance while providing strategic guidance to senior leadership. The role focuses on building and maintaining a robust compliance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and internal Company Policies, ensuring that compliance processes, controls, and governance mechanisms operate effectively across business units. The Senior Manager Compliance works closely with investigations teams to review investigative counts and case outcomes while identifying corrective actions that strengthen compliance monitoring processes and enhance compliance training and awareness programs. The position provides strategic advice to senior management on compliance risks, emerging regulatory developments, and governance matters that may impact the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing compliance training, awareness initiatives, and compliance reporting across multiple business units to reinforce ethical conduct and regulatory adherence. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional departments including Legal, HR, Risk, and Security to ensure a coordinated governance approach that aligns compliance oversight, investigations management, and ethics programs across the organization. The Senior Manager Compliance also supports the VP Compliance in preparing documentary reporting required by regulators, auditors, and executive committees, delivering structured reporting formats including dashboards, MS Word documentation, and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. Leadership responsibilities include managing and mentoring a small team of compliance and investigations professionals while supporting the development of junior talent through structured team management, performance feedback, and exposure to complex compliance and investigation cases. The role requires extensive expertise in corporate investigations including internal misconduct investigations and regulator-led investigations involving sanctions, human rights, and other regulatory enforcement areas, as well as professional compliance credentials such as Compliance Management certifications, Business Ethics qualifications, or forensic investigation certifications including Certified Fraud Examiner.

- Contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of a robust compliance framework aligned with regulatory compliance requirements and Company Policies while ensuring governance standards are consistently applied across the organization.
- Support the VP Compliance in establishing and strengthening a mature compliance culture across the organization by promoting business ethics governance, reinforcing regulatory compliance standards, and acting as a subject matter expert on compliance and investigations matters.
- Collaborate with investigations teams to review investigative counts and case outcomes, analyze investigation results, and identify corrective measures that enhance compliance monitoring mechanisms and improve compliance training programs and awareness initiatives.
- Provide strategic compliance risk advisory services to senior management by identifying emerging regulatory issues, assessing compliance risks, and recommending governance strategies that support the organizationās regulatory and ethical obligations.
- Oversee the delivery of compliance training programs, compliance awareness initiatives, and compliance reporting across multiple business units to ensure employees and leadership teams understand regulatory obligations, ethical conduct expectations, and corporate governance policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Legal, HR, Risk, and Security teams to ensure a coordinated governance framework that integrates investigations management, regulatory compliance oversight, and corporate ethics initiatives across the organization.
- Support the VP Compliance with the preparation and submission of documentary reporting required by regulators, auditors, and executive committees by producing dashboards, regulatory reports, and governance documentation using MS Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of compliance and investigations professionals by providing structured team leadership, delivering performance feedback, assigning complex investigations and compliance projects, and supporting the development of junior compliance talent.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Accounting with an additional law qualification or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory governance disciplines.
- Possess a minimum of 12+ years of professional experience in corporate investigations and regulatory compliance roles, preferably within the Middle East and North Africa region, with demonstrated responsibility for governance oversight and compliance program management.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in conducting corporate investigations including internal misconduct investigations and regulator-led investigations involving sanctions, human rights compliance, and other regulatory enforcement matters.
- Possess professional compliance certifications or forensic investigation credentials such as Compliance Management certification, Business Ethics certification, or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) qualification supporting expertise in compliance oversight and investigations.
- Demonstrate experience establishing or maintaining compliance frameworks aligned with regulatory compliance requirements and corporate governance policies within large or complex organizational environments.
- Show capability to design and deliver compliance training programs and stakeholder education initiatives for senior management, compliance teams, and investigation teams to strengthen awareness of compliance obligations and ethical standards.
- Demonstrate strong experience collaborating with cross-functional governance teams including Legal, HR, Risk, and Security to coordinate compliance monitoring, investigations management, and regulatory reporting activities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in preparing compliance documentation, dashboards, and regulatory reports using tools such as MS Word and Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation to regulators, auditors, executive committees, and senior leadership stakeholders.
