Job description
PwC Middle East is seeking a Manager to join its Finance & Accounting Government Reporting practice in Riyadh. The role focuses on helping government entities transition from cash to accrual accounting using IPSAS, as well as optimizing balance sheets in line with privatization and transformation mandates. This role involves client-facing project delivery, team leadership, and strategic input in a dynamic consulting environment.

Key responsibilities
- Assist leadership in building long-term business vision and strategy
- Lead business development activities and pursue new opportunities
- Manage project delivery including budgeting, client relationships, and resource management
- Create, review, and deliver complex client deliverables including executive-level reports
- Develop expertise in Accounting Advisory and shape client thinking
- Coach and mentor junior team members
- Conduct in-depth research on IPSAS and IFRS topics and prepare technical papers
- Collaborate across PwCās lines of service including Assurance, Strategy&, Tax, and Deals
- Build and maintain professional relationships with senior government officials and key stakeholders
- Contribute to the firmās medium to long-term strategy
- Stay updated on digital delivery trends and their impact on accounting transformations
- Support team development through leadership, training, and mentorship
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in a related field
- 6+ years of experience, preferably in consulting
- Relevant experience in IPSAS, IFRS, and cash to accrual conversion
- Strong understanding of public finance management and government accounting
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and English (preferred)
- Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia
- Experience in high-profile public sector transformation projects
