Job description
The Project Manager – Data Centers in the UAE is responsible for coordinating and managing Nordic data center projects with a focus on corporate governance, JV partner collaboration, and compliance. The role serves as the central contact for corporate-related matters, liaising with internal teams, Hyperco JV partner, consultants, and authorities to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. The manager monitors permitting applications, power connectivity, utilities, and site administrative activities, ensuring all processes comply with corporate policies, legal requirements, and regional regulatory standards. Responsibilities also include reporting progress, preparing dashboards, presentations, and business cases, identifying process gaps, and recommending improvements to enhance coordination, efficiency, and project delivery quality.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the central coordination contact for all corporate-related matters in Nordic countries
- Liaise with Hyperco and internal teams to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Facilitate consistent communication between corporate functions, local partners, consultants, and authorities
- Prepare and deliver periodic updates, reports, and escalation notes to SVP Projects
- Maintain ongoing communication with Hyperco to track progress of tasks and deliverables
- Ensure timely collection, verification, and processing of Hyperco invoices with finance and legal teams
- Follow up on project-specific requirements including design inputs, permitting progress, and power connectivity
- Monitor and coordinate key activities across data center projects including permitting, authority approvals, and compliance
- Track project milestones, highlight risks, delays, or dependencies, and support corporate governance processes
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress dashboards and maintain structured documentation for corporate interactions
- Assist in preparing business cases, presentations, and briefing notes for senior management
- Identify process gaps and recommend actions for improved coordination and efficiency
Experience & skills
- At least 5 years of project management, corporate coordination, or consulting experience
- Experience with infrastructure, utilities, telecom, or data center projects
- Prior experience dealing with Nordic regulatory environments is an advantage
- Proven track record managing external partners, consultants, or JV relationships
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Familiarity with permitting, power utilities, and regulatory processes
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and reporting systems
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail
