Job description
The Physical Security Manager at Salesforce is responsible for leading physical security operations across the UAE and KSA, ensuring the implementation of global security standards, operational excellence, and a safe environment for employees, contractors, and guests. The role serves as the Physical Security Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned Area of Responsibility (AoR), overseeing critical programs such as access control systems, guard force staffing, and enterprise risk management policies. The position requires managing security operations in alignment with global standards, coordinating resources, vendors, and contracts, and driving performance through KPI reporting and quarterly business reviews. The role is integral to Salesforceās Global Intelligence network, requiring expertise in global intelligence analysis, threat monitoring, and risk intelligence to translate complex regional threats into actionable insights. Responsibilities include producing intelligence briefs, escalating critical events, and creating visual intelligence products such as stakeholder mapping and infographics. The manager supports integration of solutions using the Salesforce platform within the global risk and intelligence portfolio while maintaining awareness of emerging trends across government, academia, and industry. The role also involves leading emergency response planning, executing security training exercises including tabletop exercises and live drills, and ensuring compliance through development and maintenance of security documentation aligned with GS&S standards. Additionally, the manager builds partnerships with internal stakeholders including Real Estate & Workplace Services, Health & Safety, Resilience, and executive leadership, as well as external law enforcement agencies. The role includes mitigating workplace violence through intelligence collection and policy development, managing event security operations for small to large events, supporting investigations, and contributing to broader corporate security functions including executive protection, project management, and security systems technology.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage physical security operations across UAE and KSA by implementing global security standards and overseeing access control systems, guard force staffing, and enterprise risk management programs
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for physical security operations within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AoR) and ensure enforcement of security policies and procedures
- Manage security vendors, contracts, and resources while coordinating operational activities to achieve short-term and long-term objectives
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conduct quarterly business reviews, and monitor operational performance and compliance
- Produce intelligence briefs, perform threat monitoring, and escalate critical incidents to internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Develop visual intelligence outputs including stakeholder mapping, threat actor mapping, and infographics to support decision-making
- Lead emergency response planning and execute training programs including tabletop exercises and live drills to ensure preparedness
- Develop, update, and align security documentation, site procedures, and operational plans with GS&S standards and compliance requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external law enforcement agencies to support threat mitigation and workplace safety
- Plan and manage event security operations for small to large events and support incident investigations within the assigned region
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 5ā10 years of experience in security or related services within public sector (law enforcement or military) or private sector environments
- Exhibit proven experience leading security teams with responsibilities in operations, training, and budgeting within a corporate environment
- Hold a Bachelorās degree in Criminal Justice or Security Management
- Possess fluency in English and Arabic for effective communication and reporting
- Demonstrate familiarity with Salesforce platform and corporate security programs including global intelligence, threat monitoring, investigations, and executive protection
- Exhibit experience in enterprise risk management, access control systems, event security management, and incident investigations
- Hold professional certifications such as CPP or CSMP as an added advantage
- Demonstrate ability to manage emergency response, conduct training exercises, and develop compliance documentation aligned with security standards
