Job description
Food manufacturing lines at KDD cannot stop for a missing ingredient, so this Procurement Officer keeps raw materials arriving on time. Purchase orders are prepared and processed with accurate specifications, quantities, pricing and delivery terms. Pricing, payment conditions, Incoterms and lead times are negotiated with local and international suppliers. International shipments by sea and air need tracking, documentation and close work with freight forwarders, logistics providers and customs agents. Production planning and inventory teams share availability data with you to prevent shortages. Suppliers are identified, evaluated and qualified on quality standards, certifications, pricing, capacity and delivery performance. Food safety requirements, regulatory standards and approved supplier lists guide every purchase, with QA documentation supported along the way. Sustainability initiatives and new product development also draw on procurement support. Candidates bring 3 to 5 years in procurement, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG, with ingredient sourcing and overseas shipment experience and Oracle or similar ERP skills.
