Job description
Water supply and wastewater services across Saudi Arabia's regional clusters depend on sound master planning, and this Riyadh-based engineer with Hill International monitors and reports on how well those plans perform. Planning covers water distribution networks, sewage collection and treatment, stormwater management and water resource management. Existing conditions and demand are analysed so engineering solutions balance functionality with sustainability. Feasibility studies weigh environmental impact, economic viability, technical constraints and regulatory compliance. Wet infrastructure layouts take account of population density, land use and transport demand, coordinated with roads, public transport and other utilities. Designs, specifications and construction plans are reviewed against codes and standards, and permits are secured with regulatory authorities. KPIs linked to strategic planning are developed and used to track regional cluster performance, supported by data analysis and modelling. Urban planners, architects, developers, government agencies and community members all work with you on integrated solutions. Expect to bring 10+ years of related experience, including master planning of water and wastewater services, a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or urban planning, and fluent Arabic and English.
