Job description
As a Senior Consultant in EY Forensic & Integrity Services, the role focuses on protecting and restoring enterprise and financial reputation by helping organizations investigate facts, resolve disputes, manage regulatory challenges, and embed integrity at the heart of compliance programs. Responsibilities span delivering strategic legal and regulatory compliance advisory, corporate governance enhancements, fraud risk assessments, enterprise risk management (ERM), and internal controls optimization. You will manage multiple client engagement teams, work with senior client personnel to address compliance, financial, and operational risks, perform internal control testing, develop internal audit plans, and provide internal audit services on an outsourcing basis. The mandate includes assessing clientsâ current-state internal controls and SOX frameworks to mitigate risk; leading presentations and proposals for complex projects; producing thought leadership and innovative commercial insights; ensuring methodology alignment with professional standards; briefing teams on client internal audit (IA) environments and TMT industry trends where applicable; maintaining client relationships to manage expectations on work products, timing, and deliverables; and collaborating across a worldwide advisor network to combine cross-border experience with local knowledge. A strong understanding of regulator expectations and international organizations such as FATF is required, alongside recent experience in forensics, GRC, internal/external audit, risk advisory, and compliance within a consulting environment, with working experience in the MENA region and fluent Arabic and English preferred.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and grow forensics engagement teams delivering regulatory compliance, corporate governance, fraud risk assessments, ERM, and internal controls services
- Manage multiple client engagements, addressing compliance, financial, and operational risks and overseeing internal control testing and outsourced internal audit services
- Develop internal audit plans and assess clientsâ internal controls and SOX frameworks to identify gaps and mitigate risk
- Prepare and lead presentations and proposals for complex projects, contributing subject-matter insights to bids
- Brief engagement teams on client IA environments and relevant industry IA trends to align execution with professional standards
- Maintain senior-level client relationships to manage expectations on scope, deliverables, timing, and quality
- Advise clients on governance, controls, culture, and data insights to strengthen compliance programs and reputational resilience
- Create innovative, commercially focused insights and adapt methods and practices to client operational and cultural needs
- Share knowledge, guide team members, and perform procedures on complex and judgmental issues in line with professional standards
- Collaborate across EYâs global network to combine cross-border expertise with local knowledge in delivering engagements
Experience & skills
- Bring a minimum of 4 yearsâ experience in the Forensics domain with background in GRC, internal & external audit, risk advisory, compliance, and risk assessment within a consulting firm
- Demonstrate broad industry expertise and network with established experience at a top-tier consulting firm
- Lead teams with cross-border experience and local market knowledge across diverse industries
- Work effectively within a global advisor network, sharing responsibility, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
- Exhibit strong understanding of regulator expectations and international bodies such as FATF
- Ideally possess working experience in the MENA region and prior experience in a consulting firm
- Fluent Arabic and English communication skills (preferred)
