Job description
An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager to join the team at Jumeirah Wild Wadi Waterpark. The role involves assisting the Director of Engineering in leading the Guest Services and Plant Services departments, maintaining the physical plant and buildings, managing capital and operational expenses, and staying updated on technical and property management innovations to improve departmental efficiency. The role includes implementing and controlling Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Demand Work Order systems, maintaining standards and procedures for equipment and repairs, innovating efficiency-driven systems to meet financial goals, and monitoring administration and documentation of maintenance and work orders.

Key responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Engineering in the leadership of the Guest Services and Plant Services Departments, maintaining the physical plant and buildings, capital and operational expense planning and budgeting, and up-to-date knowledge of technical and property management innovations.
- Implement and control the ongoing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Demand Work Order system to maintain proper functionality of the park.
- Maintain standards and procedures for equipment, repairs, and maintenance, and institute new procedures to increase labor and product efficiency with Director of Engineering approval.
- Operate within and maintain the expense budget by monitoring expenditures and innovating new efficiency-driven systems to help achieve company financial goals.
- Monitor the administration and progress of planned preventative maintenance, work orders, and their documentation assigned by the Resident Engineer.
Experience & skills
- University Degree or Diploma in related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a Managerial position.
- Previous Engineering experience minimum of 5 years, including 3 years waterpark or theme park experience.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
