Job description
The Specialist (A), Planning & Technical Research will manage and develop operational software packages for Kuwait Airways’ Operations Department. The role involves supervising data processing teams, ensuring data integrity, implementing database security protocols, and coordinating with internal departments and regulatory bodies to support operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities
- Receive and allocate output data from computer operations for processing
- Supervise data recording, validation, and error correction processes
- Specify and implement database privacy, access controls, backup, and recovery protocols
- Coordinate with relevant departments and DGCA for data input scheduling
- Plan and schedule operational data including flight, fuel, and airport charges
- Organize technical training for staff
- Liaise with IT Department for network, hardware, and software requirements
- Maintain updated and accurate operational data reports for departmental use
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 8 years' experience in data validation and control
- At least 6 years in operational IT applications, software development, and hardware maintenance
- Experience in database security, backup, and recovery procedures
- Strong coordination skills with regulatory authorities and internal departments
- Ability to supervise technical teams and manage workflow effectively
