Job description
The Store Manager at Al-Futtaim M&S in KSA leads the retail store team to achieve sales and operational targets while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The role encompasses people development, driving sales across in-store and digital channels, managing stock and visual merchandising, maintaining service and operational standards, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company policies. The manager also oversees financial performance, cost control, and talent development, building a motivated, high-performing store team aligned with the company’s values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, and Excellence.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the store team, driving sales performance across all departments
- Maximise in-store and digital sales through a strong selling culture and business strategy
- Manage stock accuracy, on-shelf availability, and store layout implementation
- Ensure high standards of customer service and delivery of a memorable shopping experience
- Implement Ready To Trade standards and maintain operational excellence and compliance
- Drive cost efficiency and manage store profitability, including staffing and waste control
- Manage performance reviews, coaching, and talent development for store employees
- Resolve customer complaints effectively and maintain positive customer relationships
- Coordinate store events and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with corporate standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations
Experience & skills
- High School diploma required, University degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years retail or F&B sales experience
- Proven experience in leading and motivating a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food and hygiene standards and certification
- Ability to drive operational excellence, stock management, and sales performance
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve complaints professionally
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and retail management systems
