Job description
Rotating equipment sits at the heart of QatarEnergy's facilities, and this senior post provides the technical design and engineering services behind it across all assigned projects. The work is carried out to QatarEnergy procedures, with quality, schedule, cost and HSE weighed together on every job. Expect to identify and apply the relevant engineering standards and Codes for Rotating Equipment Engineering, from early design through to final technical sign-off. Several projects will usually be running at once. Managing time, cost, and quality across that multiple project environment is a core part of what you do. Your technical judgement also feeds into design reviews and discussions with project teams, so clear communication and presentation in English matter. At least 10 years of relevant post graduate experience is needed, including 6 years in the Oil & Gas industry. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is required, and Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent will strengthen your application.
