Job description
The Manager – Operations role at Emirates NBD is responsible for overseeing and executing credit documentation and lodgement activities within the bank’s Corporate Risk and Administration Division (CRAD). The role involves reviewing executed standard and non-standard credit and legal documents, validating signatory authority against UAE constitutional documents, identifying documentation deficiencies and associated risks, ensuring compliance with conditions precedents prior to facility drawdown, and preparing and issuing Facility Record Sheets (FRS/EFRS). The position ensures 100% accuracy in documentation lodgement and verification in line with the CRAD Framework and Product Fact Documents (PFDs), supports internal and external MIS reporting, manages audit issues, and ensures adherence to internal circulars, policies, and regulatory requirements. The role also contributes to automation initiatives, UAT participation, process improvement projects, control enhancements, and stakeholder coordination to meet service level agreements, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction targets while maintaining strong risk governance and audit outcomes.

- Review executed standard and non-standard credit and legal documents and verify signatory authority against UAE constitutional documents
- Ensure compliance with conditions precedents prior to facility drawdown and apply bank guidelines for documentation lodgement
- Prepare, execute, and issue Facility Record Sheets (FRS) and Extended Facility Record Sheets (EFRS) with error rates below defined thresholds
- Monitor and follow up on documentation deficiencies with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure 100% accuracy in document lodgement and verification in line with CRAD Framework and PFDs
- Prepare and support MIS reporting, INA responses, and stakeholder information requirements
- Address audit issues in a timely manner and support CRAD in achieving satisfactory audit ratings
- Ensure compliance with internal circulars, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Meet SLA-defined turnaround times and support customer service metrics including CSAT scores
- Lead and participate in UAT, automation initiatives, process improvement projects, and control enhancement activities
Experience & skills
- 10–15 years of experience in the Banking or Finance industry, preferably within Corporate Banking
- Local experience and knowledge of UAE banking laws and regulations
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, MIS, and corporate banking systems
- Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend banking and legal documentation
- Proven ability to operate as a team player with flexibility in approach
