Job description
This VP-level role within Deutsche Bankās Middle East COO team is a key strategic position focused on supporting and managing transformation and business change projects across Private Bank Emerging Markets. Based in Dubai, the Business Manager will engage with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies to review and redesign operational models, optimize processes, address regulatory and platform gaps, and enable business expansion. The role demands a strong background in project execution, financial services, stakeholder alignment, and regulatory familiarity. Candidates must be hands-on, analytically strong, and adept at navigating complex multi-jurisdictional environments with a high degree of autonomy and strategic thinking.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Support Middle-East Transformation leads in developing content across multiple projects, including models, presentations, and documentation
- Independently manage selected projects and workstreams including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination
- Support governance of large transformation initiatives, including managing project plans, dependencies, and senior management updates
- Monitor and track progress of different projects and proactively identify risks and bottlenecks
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, control functions, operations, and IT
- Prepare material for internal control functions and regulators
- Coordinate across departments and geographies including Dubai, Switzerland, Singapore, Luxembourg, and the UK
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5ā7 years of experience in project management in the financial industry with lead-role experience
- Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels including Legal, Compliance, and Information Security teams
- Understanding of regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
- Strong stakeholder management across locations and departments
- Expertise in conceptual modelling and solution envisioning
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with complex models
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Highly adaptable with a proactive can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills in English; French and/or Arabic is a plus
