Job description
The MEP Supervisor – FM at DP World is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of MEP maintenance staff and contractors across facilities in Dubai, ensuring HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems are fully operational and compliant with local and national safety regulations. The role manages and coordinates maintenance schedules, implements preventive maintenance programs, responds to emergency repairs, and ensures all corrective maintenance is completed efficiently. The position includes conducting safety inspections, performing risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, and providing training to maintenance staff to keep them updated on industry standards and technologies. Detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs are maintained, and reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and budget expenditures are prepared. The role utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and reporting, and ensures alignment with DP World's operational standards and FM industry regulations. The MEP Supervisor also fosters the development and professional growth of maintenance staff through coaching, training, and mentorship.

- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking, reporting, and workflow management.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for maintenance staff, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Diploma degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP maintenance, including at least 4 years within the UAE FM industry.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems within commercial or industrial facilities.
- Proficient in implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs and emergency repair protocols.
- Demonstrate experience conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and enforcing safety protocols.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and reporting maintenance activities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, including staff supervision, training, and professional development.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of UAE local and national safety regulations relevant to MEP and facilities management.
- Ability to prepare and analyze maintenance reports, system performance data, and budget expenditures.
