Job description
The Manager in Customer & Growth at EY will lead customer experience (CX) and growth strategy engagements, working with senior stakeholders to develop and implement innovative customer-centric solutions. Responsibilities include leading CX workstreams, facilitating workshops, developing personas and journeys, and aligning solutions with business objectives. The role demands strong stakeholder engagement, strategic analysis, and operational model design. Managers also mentor junior staff, contribute to business development, and support practice growth through thought leadership and methodology development. Sector-specific insights and tools such as Qualtrics, Tableau, and Salesforce are often leveraged to optimize outcomes. This position requires expertise in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality consulting services in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead CX workstreams independently and deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with client strategies
- Serve as a key client contact, managing stakeholder engagement and relationship building
- Facilitate workshops and client meetings to align on strategic priorities
- Develop personas, customer journeys, and capability frameworks with cross-functional teams
- Design and implement operating models, governance frameworks, and growth roadmaps
- Drive organizational growth initiatives including revenue generation and market expansion
- Mentor and manage junior team members to foster a high-performance culture
- Support business development activities and contribute to proposal development
- Develop thought leadership and contribute to EYâs Customer & Growth methodologies
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree with minimum 5 years of experience in CX strategy or growth strategy consulting
- Proven expertise in customer journey design and service model development
- Strong foundation in business design, operating models, and strategy execution
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional team leadership
- Familiarity with design thinking, agile project delivery, and digital transformation
- Proficiency with platforms like Qualtrics, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar
- Sector knowledge in government, financial services, hospitality, or mobility is preferred
- Relevant certifications in customer experience (e.g., CCXP) are a plus
