Job description
Standard Chartered is hiring a Director, Transaction Banking, Corporate Sales to be based in Dubai. The role focuses on driving strategic sales growth for cash management and transaction banking products across a corporate client portfolio. You will create and implement client-specific strategies, identify new business opportunities, and provide tailored solutions that align with client needs and market dynamics. As a key advisor, youâll collaborate closely with product, service, and coverage teams to ensure superior client experiences, while supporting the countryâs revenue goals. This role requires a deep understanding of financial solutions, digitization initiatives, and the ability to cultivate executive-level relationships within client organizations.

Key responsibilities
- Create long-term client-level strategies and integrate them into overall account plans.
- Develop global calling plans and client stakeholder mappings.
- Define digitization agendas for clients to boost loyalty and wallet share.
- Partner with trade distribution teams to enhance delivery capacity.
- Identify and structure cash business opportunities and lead deal pitches.
- Deliver complex client mandates and ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with implementation, client management, and service teams for superior client experience.
- Jointly develop operating plans with product teams to meet country revenue targets.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree required.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong ability to identify client needs and generate new-to-bank business.
- Proven success in cultivating relationships with client influencers and senior decision makers.
- Ability to assess commercial implications and offer financial performance-improving solutions.
- Experience in transaction banking, corporate sales, and cash product structuring.
- Strategic and tactical planning capabilities within the corporate banking environment.
