The Director of Business Development - Sales & Marketing at Jumeirah The Red Sea in Saudi Arabia is responsible for leading business development, sales, and marketing initiatives within a luxury hospitality environment under Jumeirah, a global luxury hospitality brand and member of Dubai Holding operating 29 properties across 11 countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals, market trends, and revenue growth objectives. The position involves establishing sales targets and performance metrics, managing and developing sales teams, identifying new business opportunities, expanding customer base, and strengthening client relationships. The Director of Business Development is responsible for conducting market research, competitive analysis, and market trend identification to enhance business performance and drive revenue growth. The role requires leadership of recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management of sales teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maximizing performance. The position also involves analyzing customer preferences, identifying new market segments, managing key client relationships, and providing tailored business solutions. The role requires advanced software competencies including Microsoft Office programs, experience in luxury hospitality sales and marketing, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, high-end hospitality environment at Jumeirah The Red Sea. The candidate must demonstrate leadership, sales management, business development, and strategic planning capabilities within a global hospitality brand known for beachfront resorts, city hotels, and exclusive residences.

- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals, market trends, revenue growth objectives, and luxury hospitality business requirements for Jumeirah The Red Sea
- Establish sales targets, performance metrics, and revenue objectives for the sales team while monitoring performance, tracking results, and implementing corrective strategies to achieve business objectives
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage sales teams, implement performance management frameworks, and drive team productivity and accountability to maximize sales performance
- Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and revenue streams, expand customer base, and develop business development strategies within luxury hospitality markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel partners, and stakeholders while understanding client requirements and providing tailored solutions
- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer preference analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
- Drive revenue growth initiatives, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning while aligning with organizational goals and operational strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, marketing teams, and operational departments to ensure alignment between sales strategy, guest experience, and brand positioning
Experience & skills
- Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, or relevant field with foundational knowledge in sales strategy, marketing, and business development
- Demonstrate minimum 8 years of experience in similar business development, sales, and marketing leadership roles within hospitality or related industries
- Demonstrate experience developing and executing sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and revenue growth plans within luxury hospitality environments
- Demonstrate leadership and team management experience including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management of sales teams
- Demonstrate experience in market research, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and business development planning
- Possess advanced software competencies including Microsoft Office programs and sales reporting tools
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage key accounts to drive business growth
- Demonstrate Arabic language proficiency and ability to operate in multicultural luxury hospitality environment
