Job description
The Dispatching Lead for E-commerce Fulfillment Operations in Riyadh is responsible for overseeing and managing the dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient delivery operations. The role includes real-time monitoring of delivery progress through dispatch software, coordinating with drivers, resolving delivery issues promptly, and optimizing delivery routes in coordination with the routing team. The lead is also tasked with tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations, and leading and mentoring the dispatching team. Additionally, the Dispatching Lead plays a vital role in supporting customer service by resolving delivery-related inquiries and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The position requires proficiency in dispatch tools, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to perform in a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead the dispatching process and assign drivers to ensure on-time, efficient order dispatch
- Monitor delivery progress in real-time using dispatch software and resolve delays or issues proactively
- Maintain communication with drivers to provide updates and support during deliveries
- Resolve logistical problems and delivery issues to ensure customer satisfaction
- Track and analyze KPIs including on-time delivery, accuracy, and driver efficiency
- Collaborate with routing team to optimize delivery routes for time and cost efficiency
- Ensure dispatching operations comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure driver adherence to safety protocols
- Train and mentor the dispatching team to enhance operational effectiveness
- Oversee dispatch software usage and resolve system issues promptly

Experience & skills
