Job description
The HR Business Partner β Airline Operations acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to operational leaders across Etihad Airways, providing pragmatic, business-focused HR solutions in a highly dynamic and regulated airline environment. This role balances strategic initiatives with hands-on operational support to enhance workforce performance, engagement, and capability development.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver and execute HR plans aligned to business priorities, adapting to operational changes.
- Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce challenges and provide practical HR solutions.
- Advise on HR policies, processes, and complex employee relations matters, including high-risk cases.
- Build credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels to influence decisions and drive engagement.
- Support performance management, succession planning, organizational design, and capability development initiatives.
- Identify capability gaps and design/deliver targeted training or workshops.
- Lead and support change management initiatives ensuring communication, alignment, and adoption.
- Coach managers to effectively lead teams and manage day-to-day HR matters.
- Support development of key talent groups, including high-potential and UAE National employees.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent; professional HR qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner experience in fast-moving, regulated operational environments.
- Experience in aviation, logistics, transport, or similarly regulated industries highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to operate with resilience and adaptability in rapidly changing environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leaders.
- Exposure to employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and change management.
- Track record of delivering strategic HR initiatives alongside operational support.
