Job description
The Relationship Manager â Trading Companies (UAE) maintains and grows a portfolio of trading company clients, originating, structuring, and recommending appropriate credit facilitiesâincluding working capital facilities, term finance, treasury, and investment banking productsâwithin the stipulated business strategy and key parameters. The role is accountable for achieving financial and non-financial targets (MBOs/KPIs), identifying and developing new business in the defined target market to meet unit plans, deepening existing relationships to maximize ROA and share of wallet, and optimizing balance sheet usage and structure across the managed portfolio. Success requires complete knowledge of the bankâs credit policy and operating systems, the ability to handle large and complex transactions and structure deals independently, strong marketing skills with mandatory credit and legal knowledge, and broad product knowledge across Working Capital, Term Finance, Investment Banking, and Treasury offerings. The position demands excellent communication and analytical skills, effective teamwork, and leadership potential to officiate for the Team Leader.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain and deepen existing trading company relationships and solicit acceptable new relationships in line with business strategy and key parameters
- Originate, structure, and recommend credit facilities across working capital, term finance, treasury, and investment banking products
- Achieve financial and non-financial targets as set out in MBOs/KPIs
- Identify and develop new business within the defined target market to deliver the unitâs plan
- Maximize ROA and share of wallet across the existing client base through cross-sell and upsell of relevant products
- Optimize balance sheet usage and structure across the managed portfolio to improve returns and capital efficiency
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate complete knowledge and clear understanding of the bankâs credit policy and operating systems
- Prove ability to handle large and complex transactions and structure deals independently
- Possess strong marketing skills with mandatory credit and legal knowledge
- Show good knowledge of financial products/services across Working Capital, Term Finance, Investment Banking, and Treasury
- Exhibit excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to perform as a team player
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and potential to act as/for a Team Leader
- Hold a CA or MBA (preferred) with 3â5 years of marketing/corporate finance experience
