Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction Manager with a proven track record in directly managing and being accountable for the planning and execution of high-profile oil and gas projects. The role leads construction efforts to ensure projects are executed in accordance with ADNOC Onshore and project procedures and shareholder expectations. The Senior Construction Manager directly manages Construction Leaders and ensures compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements, while driving effective stakeholder communication and resource utilization.

Key responsibilities
- Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables
- Supervises all areas on small projects and/or a subset/discipline on larger projects
- Manage and execute multiple field disciplines or a subset of assigned construction project(s) in accordance with contract requirements and company operating principles
- Ensure execution of work in accordance with specified quality standards and project requirements
- Manage and control project cost and schedule for assigned disciplines/subset of onsite construction
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and completion activities of materials and equipment
- Coordinate field personnel work schedules to maximize utilization and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor work progress and report against the project plan
- Ensure safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities are defined and communicated to all workers
- Ensure workers receive appropriate training, including HSE and site-specific inductions
- Initiate and monitor safety, quality, and environmental processes such as toolbox meetings, inspections, and risk assessments
- Maintain compliance with Wood and client requirements across construction activities
Experience & skills
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent site experience in a senior role
- Professional Engineer accreditation preferred
- Minimum of 20 years of construction management experience on large oil and gas development projects
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively with people across diverse cultures
