Job description
The Senior Manager Workplaces (Facilities Management and Real Estate Operations) at adidas is responsible for the active management of the Global Real Estate Portfolio across Emerging Markets Central (UAE, KSA, Egypt, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Jordan), including lease management, property transactions, and the design, construction, and operations of offices, showrooms, and distribution centers (DCs). The role ensures delivery of high-quality facility management services, covering both technical facility management and infrastructural facility management, aligned with business objectives to support revenue growth, portfolio optimization, and employee experience. The position requires managing building system procedures and programs, maintaining the integrated management system (IMS), and leveraging integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) to ensure operational accuracy and compliance. The role involves establishing and monitoring KPIs and SLAs in collaboration with the EM Workplaces Leadership Team, managing budgets, financial forecasting, cost control, and invoicing processes, while ensuring accurate reporting. The manager leads multi-location projects, coordinates stakeholders including internal departments (Finance, IT, Sales, Security, Brands) and external entities such as suppliers, landlords, and authorities, and drives continuous improvement initiatives for workplace experience. Responsibilities include implementing workplace transformation processes, managing employee moves, ensuring health and safety compliance in accordance with applicable laws, and overseeing site security standards in partnership with Global Security. The role requires strong project management and quality management capabilities, along with proficiency in MS Office tools such as MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and a deep understanding of corporate facility operations in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.

- Lead and manage complex facility management and real estate operations across multiple countries, including lease management, property transactions, and design and construction management of offices, showrooms, and distribution centers
- Deliver high-quality technical facility management and infrastructural facility management services ensuring compliance with KPIs, SLAs, budgets, schedules, and scope while enhancing workplace experience
- Manage and maintain building system procedures and programs including integrated management system (IMS) and integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) to ensure operational efficiency and data accuracy
- Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasting, cost control, invoicing management, and reporting while identifying cost-saving opportunities and communicating risks and opportunities to leadership
- Coordinate and manage stakeholders including internal departments, external suppliers, landlords, and authorities to ensure seamless execution of projects and operations
- Drive workplace initiatives including employee moves, workplace transformations, and engagement programs to improve employee experience and organizational performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement site security operational standards in partnership with Global Security leadership
- Lead, develop, and manage multi-country teams by setting performance expectations, conducting performance reviews, and fostering continuous improvement and accountability
- Oversee project management and quality management activities including delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining service excellence
Experience & skills
- Possess a degree related to facility management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, providing a strong foundation in real estate portfolio management, facility operations, and corporate workplace environments
- Demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of working experience in facility management, real estate operations, or workplace management, including exposure to lease management, property transactions, and design and construction management
- Exhibit at least 2 years of experience in leading a business area and managing people, including responsibility for team performance management, stakeholder coordination, and multi-country operational oversight
- Show strong expertise in technical facility management and infrastructural facility management, including management of integrated management system (IMS) and integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) for operational control and reporting
- Demonstrate advanced capabilities in financial management including budget management, financial forecasting, cost control, invoicing management, and reporting within a corporate environment
- Possess solid knowledge of project management and quality management methodologies, with experience in managing complex, multi-location projects and delivering within defined KPIs and SLAs
- Exhibit proficiency in MS Office tools including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word, along with strong analytical and numerical skills for performance tracking and decision-making
- Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety compliance, site security standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to facility operations across multiple countries
- Show ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, landlords, and authorities while implementing business strategies with an end-to-end mindset in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
