Etihad Airways (Abu Dhabi) seeks a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist (UAE Nationals Only) within the Cybersecurity Operations team to deliver operational security services defined in the Security Operations service catalogue, provided both by a Managed Security Services (MSS) provider and in-house. The role, which may scale from entry-level to seasoned professional, manages or supports the technical delivery of supplier-provided Security Operations services to agreed service levels and standards, serving as a key point of contact for information security operational requests. Core scope includes reviewing supplier reports against SLAs; ensuring effectiveness of managed services for detection, prevention, protection, and remediation of security incidents; enforcing information security controls to Etihad security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements; supporting information security investigations; reporting situational awareness; ensuring security policies, requirements, and controls are applied across supported platforms; and supporting providers to define and document security procedures and configurations. Education & Experience expectations include a graduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent, 5+ years in Cybersecurity, deep knowledge of security technologies and processes delivered in an MSS environment, understanding of ISO27001, NIST, UAE government cybersecurity standards, and international/local regulations pertaining to information security and data privacy, proficiency in Service Management Operations (e.g., Incident, Vulnerability, Change Management), ability to manage execution of projects by security services providers and internal teams, and strong written/oral communication.
