Medium to large GIS projects for Hitachi Energy in Dammam start with a contract handed over from sales, and this Project Manager reviews its terms, risks and margin exposure before execution begins. Scope, time and cost are planned, monitored and controlled proactively, with schedules agreed with internal and external stakeholders. SAP holds the process activities, and documentation follows ISO and internal requirements throughout the project cycle. Engineering and the customer work with you to approve drawings and documents on time. Customers treat you as their single point of contact and escalation point, with progress reports issued as the contract requires. Change requests are documented carefully so time extensions and additional costs get approved. Risks and opportunities are managed through a project-specific plan. FAT, dispatch, invoicing, site installation, testing and commissioning, payment collection, as-built drawings and PAC and FAC all need coordinating before closure and handover to service. Candidates bring 7 to 12 years executing GIS, substation or similar HV projects, ideally with Saudi and Middle East customers, plus SAP or ERP knowledge and an electrical engineering background.
