Job description
Salesforce's Professional Services team in Riyadh delivers complex customer programmes, and this Senior Solution Architect shapes, scopes and drives them from first conversation to full execution. Media and telecommunications customers are the main focus, so sector experience matters. Executive-level business and functional requirements are turned into scalable process designs and solution architecture. Prototypes, proofs of concept and mockups help pin down complex requirements before build. User stories and solution specifications are written and owned by you, then detailed in agile sprints for the technical team. AI plays a growing part, with Agentforce used to automate workflows and improve business processes. Guidance covers Salesforce Platform capabilities, environment management and testing through UAT, all within the Professional Services Methodology. Regional travel is expected, with occasional international trips. Expect to bring 8+ years as a Solution Architect, Functional Architect, Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst, fluent English and ideally Arabic, with Salesforce certifications and Revenue Cloud (CPQ, EPC) or Communications Cloud experience highly valued.

Key responsibilities
- Shape, scope and drive complex customer engagements from initial scoping through full execution
- Evaluate business and functional requirements at executive level and translate them into scalable process designs and solution architecture
- Champion AI tools and Agentforce to automate workflows and optimise business processes
- Create prototypes, proofs of concept and mockups to define complex business requirements
- Own user stories and solution specifications, detailing them in agile sprints for the technical team
- Provide guidance on Salesforce Platform capabilities, functional solution architecture, environment management and UAT
- Build trust with key stakeholders and negotiate solutions to complex strategic and technical problems
- Safeguard architectural integrity and executive alignment across mission-critical programmes
- Apply Professional Services Methodology best practices consistently across engagements
- Partner with Consultants, Architects and Project Managers to deliver customer success
Experience & skills
- Bring 8+ years of experience in enterprise software as a Solution Architect, Functional Architect, Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst
- Demonstrate a proven track record delivering solutions in the Media and/or Telecommunications sector
- Show the ability to analyse, design and optimise enterprise business processes through technology
- Apply AI-assisted tools and understand how Agentforce or similar technologies can transform business operations
- Document requirements, architectures and process flows clearly using diagrams and functional models
- Communicate fluently in English, with Arabic proficiency preferred
- Work independently and as part of a distributed Agile/Scrum team
- Travel regionally and occasionally internationally as customer needs require
- Hold active Salesforce Certifications with deep hands-on declarative experience (preferred)
- Offer experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, EPC) or Communications Cloud, CSPO certification or senior consulting at a top-tier firm (preferred)
