Job description
Mergers, acquisitions and IPOs in Saudi banking and asset management raise hard accounting and control questions, and this Senior Manager in EY's FAAS Banking and Capital Markets team in Riyadh helps clients answer them. Due diligence, transaction work, internal control over financial reporting and technical accounting for banks and asset managers form one side of the role. The other covers transformation, from operating model design and core banking modernisation to digital channels, data and controls. Private equity clients bring work at both management company and portfolio company level, calling for strong fund controllership and fund accounting knowledge. Stakeholders across business, finance, operations, technology, risk and compliance help shape target-state requirements, which you turn into workplans, capability maps and implementation roadmaps. Larger programmes add PMO governance, RAID management, business readiness and executive reporting. Business development and coaching junior consultants round out the brief. Expect to bring 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally from a top-tier consulting or Big Four firm, with familiarity across fund structures and asset management platforms, and Arabic an advantage.
Required skills
