Telecom platforms move enormous amounts of data through complex transformations, and this Test Lead role exists to make sure every one of those transformations holds up under scrutiny. Functional, Integration, End-to-End, UAT, and BAT testing all run through the role, covering telecom applications from multiple angles rather than a single test type. You conduct API testing using Postman, validating service integrations across multiple systems as part of the wider quality effort. ETL testing gets executed both manually and through tools such as Informatica, with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes checked for accuracy and integrity at every stage. Complex test scenarios get developed for telecom business processes, while defects get identified, logged, tracked, and retested using defect management tools. SQL sits at the center of backend database work, with complex queries created and validated for database testing and data reconciliation against Oracle databases. Business rules and logic get applied to validate data movement and staging environments, with field level mapping checked alongside business users and stakeholders during UAT and BAT phases. AI driven approaches get explored and implemented in ETL testing too, aimed at improving testing efficiency and quality over time.
