The UAE National Clinic Manager / Unit In-Charge role at HealthHub Clinics by Al-Futtaim Health in Dubai is a senior healthcare operations leadership position responsible for full accountability of clinic performance, operational efficiency, and service quality within a multidisciplinary primary healthcare environment. The role operates within Al-Futtaim Group’s healthcare division, managing HealthHub Clinics, a multi-specialty network delivering evidence-based, patient-centric care across Dubai. The Clinic Manager oversees day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality healthcare delivery in compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, healthcare laws, and corporate policies. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams of up to 40 staff members, including clinical and non-clinical personnel, ensuring effective staffing, rostering, performance evaluation, and workforce management. It requires strong financial oversight including budget development, expense control, and revenue performance management aligned with healthcare operational KPIs. The position is responsible for ensuring excellent patient experience through effective patient flow management, service delivery optimization, complaint handling, and service recovery processes. The Clinic Manager oversees procurement, stock management, petty cash, and vendor coordination to ensure operational continuity and resource efficiency. The role also ensures compliance with healthcare quality standards, accreditation requirements (including Accreditation Canada standards), infection control protocols, safety regulations, and emergency preparedness procedures. In addition, the position involves preparing operational, financial, and performance reports for senior management while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance clinic productivity and service excellence. The role requires close collaboration with physicians, medical directors, corporate healthcare leadership, and support departments to maintain clinical excellence and operational alignment. Key responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality healthcare service delivery in compliance with DHA regulations, healthcare laws, and corporate policies.
- Lead, manage, and develop multidisciplinary teams of up to 40 clinical and non-clinical staff members, ensuring effective staffing, rostering, attendance management, and performance evaluation.
- Develop, monitor, and control clinic budgets, expenses, and revenue performance while ensuring alignment with financial KPIs and operational efficiency targets.
- Oversee patient flow management, patient experience, complaints handling, and service recovery processes to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and trust.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare quality standards, accreditation requirements, infection control protocols, safety standards, emergency preparedness, and environmental health regulations.
- Manage procurement, stock control, petty cash, and vendor relationships to ensure operational continuity and efficient resource utilization within the clinic.
- Prepare and review operational, financial, quality, and performance reports, providing insights to senior management to support decision-making and performance improvement.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, medical directors, and corporate healthcare teams to ensure clinical excellence, operational alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience & skills
- Must be a UAE National with a valid family book, holding a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Healthcare Management or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations or clinic management within a similar healthcare environment.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, team management, and decision-making capabilities in a clinic or healthcare operations setting.
- Have solid understanding of healthcare operations including revenue cycle management, patient services, and operational KPI tracking.
- Exhibit experience in budget management, resource allocation, and financial performance monitoring within healthcare settings.
- Possess strong knowledge of DHA regulations, healthcare laws, clinical compliance requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, with Arabic considered an advantage for stakeholder engagement.
- Show ability to work under pressure, manage multiple operational priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
