Key responsibilities
- Oversee and provide inputs related to MEP, sustainability, and energy efficiency to optimize project lifecycles and environmental impact
- Review MEP designs and liaise with utilities, delivery, contractors, and consultants to recommend amendments throughout project stages
- Participate in tender management including subcontractor coordination, negotiations, and quantity take-offs
- Conduct Value Engineering studies to identify areas for optimal design performance and cost minimization
- Capture project feedback to develop permanent solutions and foster continuous improvement
- Provide deliverables within RFPs to streamline consultant selection and project success
- Approve MEP designs and infrastructure ensuring code compliance and adherence to standards
- Conduct due diligence on service providers to mitigate risks and ensure quality partnerships
- Lead integration of MEP systems into project execution across company divisions
- Implement departmental work plans and procedural improvements for quality, cost, and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with DEWA, Etisalat, and Civil Defense for NOC approvals and issue resolution
- Provide technical support to resolve project site issues and ensure progress
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 10â12 years of experience in engineering project management
- At least 5 yearsâ experience in MEP Project Management within real estate development
- Project management experience and good knowledge of the regional real estate market
- Proficiency in preparing and managing marketing and project documentation
- Strong media relations and internal coordination capabilities
- Ability to manage event logistics and marketing material distribution
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database tools
