Job description
The Director of Sales for the iconic Queen Elizabeth II (QE2) Hotel in Dubai is responsible for developing and executing strategic commercial plans to drive revenue across all segments of the business. This position leads a proactive sales team, fosters collaboration with internal departments and Accor global stakeholders, and takes direct ownership of high-value accounts. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the UAE and key international markets, experience in luxury hospitality, and a proven record of revenue growth and team leadership. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on sales execution, aiming to preserve the historic brand's legacy while delivering world-class guest experiences and financial performance.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic commercial plans with the GM and Revenue Manager to drive revenue across all segments.
- Monitor KPIs, adjusting strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Lead and manage the sales team, from hiring and onboarding to performance coaching and development.
- Coordinate closely with brand leads for Sales, Revenue, and Accorâs Global Sales team.
- Own and execute the hotelâs sales strategy and critical sales path.
- Leverage in-depth local and international market knowledge to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional departments to align sales initiatives with operational excellence and guest experience.
- Manage a key portfolio of accounts including rate negotiations and strategic account development.
- Create and manage annual sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews.
- Ensure all guests receive responsive, professional, and friendly service.
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar sales leadership role within a luxury hotel brand.
- Strong market knowledge of UAE and key international feeder markets.
- Bachelorâs degree preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing strategic accounts.
- Leadership ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to leverage emerging trends and technologies.
- Professional demeanor with strong ethical standards and integrity.
