Job description
The Key Account Manager in Dubai is responsible for driving sales performance and market share growth in the automotive sector by managing key customer accounts, maintaining the right gross profit per customer, providing market intelligence, supporting the full sales process (enquiry, sales, delivery, collection), and strengthening relationships with existing and new clients through daily interaction and scheduled visits. The role includes dealer online setup, tactical and product campaign suggestions, new product business development, forecasting regional performance, competitor tracking, cross-department collaboration, branch performance monitoring, issue resolution, and conducting price and activity surveys. The manager is also responsible for preparing training materials for fleet and dealer customer segments and submitting daily visit reports.

- Ensure individual sales targets are met and maintain appropriate gross profit by customer
- Improve sales performance and market share by adding active customers to existing clientele
- Provide input to market intelligence and track competitor activities
- Support customers throughout the sales process including enquiry, sales, delivery, and collection
- Strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through daily interactions and visits
- Ensure dealer online setup is completed at customer premises
- Suggest tactical and product campaigns to drive sales
- Enhance business for new products and forecast region-wise performance and market trends
- Collaborate with various organizational departments to meet customer needs
- Ensure branches achieve their financial targets and resolve issues related to supplies or payments
- Conduct price and activity surveys of competitors for customers
- Assist in preparing materials and provide training to fleet and dealer customer segments
- Prepare and submit daily visit reports
Experience & skills
- Graduate or Diploma in Automobile Engineering
- 5–7 years of experience in a similar role or industry
- Proficiency in sales target management, market intelligence, and competitor analysis
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Proactive and presentable approach
